Well it’s been quite a year. We had our first surgical mission in Cebu as Smile for Me. We met some beautiful children & their families & helped changed their lives forever. We want to say a massive thankyou to everyone who has been involved & has supported us. So to continue our work in the Philippines we have a couple of events coming up.
First we have our overnight hike Trek for the Tots on October 28th. This started with one of our nurses Mandy, her son Liam & father Ken. Last year they walked in the Royal National Park. This year we have more families joining us & we are walking 30kms from Cowan to Hornsby & camping at Crosslands. So if that sounds like something you would like to do contact us on [email protected].
In November we will be celebrating our first official year as a charity. We are holding a party to celebrate Smile for Me with all our friends & supporters & say Thanks. The party will be at the Imperial Hotel in Paddington on the 11th of November. Tickets are $25 & are available from Humanitix at https://www.humanitix.com/event/smile-for-me-1st-birthday-bash/.
